Carolina Walsh, Ed. D., LPC
Dr. Walsh specializes in work with individuals and couples who are experiencing challenges associated with marital stressors, anxiety disorders, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Her treatment incorporates several approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, Imago couples therapy and relational therapy. To promote self-awareness, improve relationships and inner peace, a personalized treatment plan is developed for each client.
Dr. Walsh was a cofounder of the Lawyers in Balance program (contemplative practice for law students) at the Georgetown University Law Center. Additional education includes completion of the Georgetown University Medical Center training course in Mind, Body Medicine and the Jon Kabat-Zinn seven-day professional training course in leading Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction groups.
